This five-story commercial building has long punctuated the Pueblo skyline. Pioneer architect Francis W. Cooper also had a hand in the design of many other important downtown structures. The pressed brick and red sandstone building features a central two-story bay window framed in copper. Other notable details include the row of arched windows and a broken string course along the fourth story, the decorative brick-work on the fifth story, and the large fan of carved stone in the center section of the cornice.
